So, you’ve already shaved down there. You take a look at it and quickly assess the situation the next day. Suddenly you come to realize that shaving your pubic hair was a bad idea.

Has it happened to you? Or even worse: Is it happening to you right now? Well, first calm down, take a deep breath and follow these simple tips that might save you some suffering:

• Wear comfortable, loose clothes until the razor bumps caused by the ingrown hair have disappeared. This way you’ll avoid friction and possible infection.
• Grab a hot towel and leave it on the pubic area for some minutes. This simple tip will help the pores widen and in turn help the hair make their way out of the skin.
• Use an ingrown hair product, but first consult if is suitable to use on that area.
• Take precautions and clean and exfoliate the next time you engage in this dangerous sport.
• DO NOT USE TWEEZERS, the pubic area is very sensitive, and in inexpert hands tweezers can be mean…really mean.

Remember if you are planning to shave your pubic hair, read about it first and follow the recommendations.

Finally we get to do Philips Norelco Bodygroom Product Review! Yes, after many (mailing) problems we finally get our hands on this nifty piece of gadgetry.

The main purpose of the Bodygroom is simple. Help you trim all your body hair from the neck to bottom – including the groin area! So if you have excessive hair you can just use this to be a little more groomed up.

The Philips Norelco Bodygroom comes in a box along with a set of 3 attachment combs to control the length of the hair, and a stand-charger, because it’s cordless. I first thought it was going to be a little heavier, but it surprised me that it is very light and not so big. Let’s see first some of it’s features:

• Trim and shave all body zones (from the neck down)
• It’s safe & easy
• For use in or out of the shower
• Hypoallergenic foil
• Self sharpening blades ensure a precise trim and shave everytime.

Interested in pubic shaving? Well, you better check you have all the things needed to make of it a rewarding experience.  Shaving down there is tricky the first few tries and without proper after care, you could end up VERY disappointed with the results.  Once you have all the necessary tools visit our Pubic Shaving section to get all the techniques.

·  Scissors - The scissor will be your best friend when you need to trim down your hair. Trim it as close as you safely can. This makes shaving a LOT easier.

·  A warm towel - You will have to warm the pubic area first, so can open up the pres and make shaving smoother.

·  Razor Blade - Use a high quality razor blade, preferably new, so this way you’ll avoid going over and over the same area, producing irritation.

·  Shaving Cream - A good shaving cream will soften your pubic hairs, which are by nature thicker. Leave the cream for about 40 secs before proceeding to shaving. I would recommend Amenity Shaving Cream, it works great and leaves no cuts and nicks.

·  Moisturizer - After shaving your skin will end up dry, specially in that sensitive area. I moisturizer is a must, use any moisturizer that you find suitable, or better off use natural products. This can reduce itching on the upcoming days.
