How to Cover Up Stretch Marks

how to cover up stretch marks

Yes, it’s true; we men also have stretch marks. Nor from pregnancy of course! – unless you are part of some kind of experiment I haven’t heard about – But from conditions such as obesity, and even in some cases muscle growth.

Luckily, there are certain tips you can use to learn how to cover up stretch marks, just in case you need to show your body somewhere, to someone, someday. Well, here they are:

  1. First, you gotta drink a lot of water, and I mean A LOT. This will help you with your overall health, but in this particular case, the hydration will soften your skin and get it ready to further hide the stretch marks. If you can’t stand large amounts of water, you can eat fruits with water such as watermelon or grapes!
  2. Exfoliate the area with stretch marks. Personally I’d recommend using a pumice stone, it works wonders.
  3. Apply bronze powder on your skin. The thing here is to get an even tone on your skin so those stretch marks are well covered without your skin looking weird. I know this can be a little time consuming and frustrating for us guys, but in some cases they are a necessity.

As an extra tip, I’d recommend using nacar shell cream for a long term cover up and less stretch marks. This cream is widely used by people who want to get rid of spots and marks on the skin, and it is safe made of a natural product.

Men’s Skin Care Regimen for Oily Skin

A lot of men complain of having oily skin, yet not all of them have it.  Oil in the skin is necessary; these natural body oils help keeping us away from wrinkles (the opposite of dry skin, who make wrinkle appear easily) and dry skin.

Here is a regimen for oily skin that can take care of the excess oil in your face, while maintaining a proper balance:

  1. Cleansing. This is the first step of all skin care regimens.  When you have oily skin you have to choose quality products designed for your type of skin.  This step is very important, as you need to remove excess oil to let the rest of products in the regime work good. Do You Have Oily Skin? Cut Your Hair!

 oily-skin.jpg

If you have oily skin, this may be influenced by having long hair.  You don’t have to necessarily have your hair like a hair-metal dude from the 80s in order to notice excessive oil. As you know the scalp’s skin also produces oil and this worsens as your hair grows longer and longer.

The solution is very simple – cutting it.  If you can sport he buzzed-hair look, the better for you.  I have seen great improvements in cases of oily skin, just by cutting the hair short.  For some people, even if they want long hair, it can be an inconvenience. Read the rest of this entry »
