Following our reviews of the big package sent by Maintenance for Men, it’s the turn now of reviewing the Anthony SPORT’s Pre-Shave Oil for all skin types.

Pre-Shave Oil is used prior to applying the shaving cream in order to prepare the skin for shaving. We’ve tried this pre-shave oil with a common shaving cream to better assess its work. But as always, let’s see what The Anthony SPORTS Pre-Shave Oil is all about:

“Preparation is the name of the game. This blend of peppermint, rosemary, macadamia and olive oils helps to soften the beard and works to guard the skin giving you a close and comfortable shaving experience.”

Ok, so the first step is applying the oil. As soon as you put it in your hands, you’ll notice a nice smell of peppermint. It reminds me of those mint-chocolates you found at hotel rooms. It’s really nice. The oil is not so thick so, it is a good idea to put a little of the oil, cover an area, then repeat until you cover your face and neck.

Then I put on the common shave cream and proceeded to shave my face. It was really nice, the oil provided extra gliding, and of course protection. So it did the job quite good. What I like about the Anthony Sports Pre-Shave Oil is that it is a product for all skin types. This is specially useful for people who are clueless about their skin type.

After the shave my skin felt really good and hydrated. This product also acts as tonifier and anti-inflammatory agent. So you won’t feel irritated – I didn’t even use after shave and the skin felt great!
